As a stay-at-home mom, I rarely do my hair or make up, but today I decided to curl my hair and put on some make up. I feel pretty. Oh so pretty. :)

If my hair would have ever looked that pretty when it was long maybe I would let it grow out again. Beautiful... both of you.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Jennifer! <3 I used a curling iron actually, even though I used to use hot rollers all the time. This time I used my new(er) Hot Tools 1" curling iron I got from Sally's Beauty Supply. It's a great iron! :)

DeleteI'm so glad I met you, my Young Friend. I need more of these reminders to make myself not feel so old. When I first had DD, I literally didn't put on makeup or do my hair for a year. I was so focused on her that I didn't care. Then when I finally started wearing makeup again, I was like, um, wow, I can actually look pretty! Now I DO NOT go anywhere without the makeup since I cannot afford to. :) I have priorities, you know!

Hahaa! Yeah I certainly don't leave the house without make up on, unless I'm going for a run. It's amazing how when you're caring for another human and ALL their needs, that you hardly think about yourself. I guess that's what good mommies do ;)
